Recent High Profile Cases Show Complicated Domestic Abuse

If you haven'nt been there, you may not understand.  But, I can bet that you know somebody who has been the victim of domestic violence.  Its easy to make a throw away comment - "Just Leave!"  It's rarely that easy to leave.  I have worked with Domestic Abuse survivors, and I've worked with those who have been abusers.  And, not that long ago, I had to set boundaries with someone who was gaslighting me.  It isn't easy to accept that you, or someone you love, may be a victim, or a perpetrator of Domestic Abuse.  If it is you who is the victim, breathe, get some perspective, and remember that you are worth more than what you are getting from that relationship.
