Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway

Change is hard.

I just made a big change in my life.  It has been expensive, time-consuming, and I've had plenty of doubts about big and small decisions.  Then I found this image of a ballet dancer's feet.  It is hard to look at.  I mean, I imagine that she is in pain all the time. I complain about a little paper cut on my hand, and this woman is dancing on blisters.  She probably makes her craft look so beautiful and effortless.  But, remember, anything of quality probably has a tremendous amount of work, sacrifice, and pain behind it.  Hard work = Pain.  But it is usually so worth it.  If you are afraid of change, just feel that fear, and do what you need to do anyway.
